Free Urdu Script
We, at Zabaan, realize that there are many people in Delhi who do know Hindi but do not know how to read and write the Urdu script. To fill this gap Zabaan offers a five-week Urdu Script course on Saturday afternoons for FREE!
The next batch will start on Saturday, June 8th, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. and will meet the following four Saturdays always from 3.00 – 4.30 p.m. Please send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org to register for the course. Enrollment is on first-come first-serve basis and space is limited to 20 students. Before registering, please make sure that you will be available for all five of the consecutive Saturday afternoons.
This script course is taught by Ali Taqi who explains how this beautiful script works in an easy to understand way, so that students can read and study what is already written in the language, and maybe write something of their own too!
This is a complete course on Nastaliq (the script of Urdu). By the end of this 4-session course you will be able to read and write Urdu. We recommend that students who already have a background in speaking Hindi or Urdu should continue on with our “Urdu Reading and Writing” course to practice and perfect what they learn in this course.
Note: While this class is being taught for free, the instructor gives it his 100% teaching effort.
This free course is not offered online so please refer to our Online Instruction page if you would like to learn the Urdu script but are not in Delhi.
