Zabaan offers Hindi and Urdu courses online to current students (who travel a lot while in Delhi), and to new students. As we do in all of our Private Instruction sessions, we personalize your Online Instruction sessions according to your current language level and goals. All you will need to do is register with us and you will be entitled to request an online lessons as little as three hours in advance (excluding the hours between 11:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. GMT +5); you can take advantage of Zabaan Online if you know that you’ll be waiting at an airport for your flight, or if you simply know that you’ll have some free time for a lesson.
Taking online lessons is easy; simply sign-on to Skype and that’s it; you don’t even need a video camera as we do not need to see you, and you won’t need to see us because the whole lesson is done through audio and screen sharing. If you don’t already have Skype, you may download it here. Please see the hardware requirements below, although if you’ve bought your computer in the past two to three years, there shouldn’t be any problem.
For our ongoing online students, we ask you to have a scanner (or at least access to one) so that you can send us your hand-written homework assignments through e-mail. Once we receive your homework, we will print it, correct it by hand, scan it, and then send it back to you before your next session.
In order to make payments you will need to have a Paypal account setup and send your payment through Paypal to zabaan@gmail.com. As with other types of classes, Online Instruction also has “negotiated rates.”
